Honours
Honours is a challenging year in which you'll develop and demonstrate your capabilities for critical thought and independent research within the broad area of biology.
You'll develop specialist knowledge and practice as you conduct your research under the guidance of a supervisor.
Honours gives you the chance to:
- work collaboratively with our academic staff
- prepare for a higher degree by research
- broaden your skill base for a range of scientific careers and professions.
Our programs
Honours programs span a full academic year, and you can start your program in first or second semester.
You can study honours after completing the three-year BSc or as the final year of a four-year BAdvSc (Hons) degree.
How to apply
To apply for honours, you must choose a project topic, find a supervisor and then fill in an online application.
