Population decline and threats to Cupaniopsis tomentella (Sapindaceae): a rare softwood scrub species from the Ipswich-Boonah area in south-east Queensland.
Cupaniopsis tomentella (Boonah tuckeroo) is a small tree endemic to the fertile clay soils of the Ipswich-Boonah area in south-east Queensland. It grows amongst vine-thicket and this habitat has been extensively cleared for agriculture over the past 150 years. This project would involve a detailed assessment of population demographics, past decline, ongoing threats and important conservation actions for the species.
