Metabolic pathways related to diseases of ageing

Almost all of the diseases of ageing almost all have an underlying metabolic basis. We have identified a key metabolic regulator that is linked to delay of ageing and resistance to the diseases of ageing as well.

This project will map the metabolic pathways associated with this key metabolic regulator  as they are likely to be involved in ageing and the diseases of ageing have a common metabolic basis.
