Mechanisms that result in induced tolerance to phosphine, an agricultural fumigant

We have identified stress conditions that induce significant tolerance toward the agricultural fumigant phosphine.

We wish to understand the induced tolerance to gain insight into resistance mechanisms so that we can develop strategies to overcome resistance to phosphine in pest insects.
