Conservation planning and prioritisation
This project will focus on incorporating socio-political and human-related drivers into biodiversity conservation.
You will focus on the role of cross-boundary collaboration and conflicts in conservation. This can be on terrestrial, marine (Coral Triangle, Mediterranean, Caribbean) or river systems. You will also look at conservation prioritisation and collaboration along big rivers (Nile, Amazon, Danube, Murray-Darling, Colorado).
You will need some background in GIS or remote sensing, and spatial modelling.
