Project title:

Exploring an iconic place-based approach to climate change communication and engagement

Project description:

Yolanda explores the diverse connections between people and iconic marine ecosystems, such as the Great Barrier Reef, and whether these connections provide a unique pathway for strengthening public engagement with climate action. She is particularly interested in the effects of social and educational experiences above and below the water and is committed to collaborating with end-users to ensure applied research outcomes.
