What you’ll learn
This Upskill in Ecology weekend camp combines nature-based learning and defined ecological skills.
You'll visit three unique landscape types of the outskirts of Brisbane - the sandstone of the Helidon Hills, the basalts of Mount Mort and the remnants of Brigalow and bottle trees near Boonah.
Together with UQ's Associate Professor Rod Fensham and Dr John Dwyer, you'll explore the geological history and vegetation of these landscapes, observing and learning along the way.
