Location: Queensland Trust for Nature’s Aroona property, in the Little Liverpool Range/Main Range in South East Queensland

Details

Participate in an invertebrate survey across Aroona. Focus on sampling in ecotypes that match plant camp – dry rainforest and sclerophyll – and sample aquatic invertebrates at the property’s springs. This event is co-hosted by the Ecology Centre, the Entomological Society of Queensland and Queensland Trust for Nature.

You’ll travel by bus to Aroona and have access to the property’s accommodation, fridges and gas for barbecues.

We’ll provide teaching collection materials such as Berleze funnels, nets, jars and tweezers, and ethanol, sample jars, plastic guttering, cloths (for making lures), pins, foam, cards and sample storage boxes.
