UQ's Student Planners Celebrated at PIA Awards

31 Aug 2022

On Wednesday 29 June 2022, the planning profession came together to celebrate and support the next generation of planners at the PIA Queensland Student Academic Prize Ceremony. PIA works closely with Queensland universities delivering PIA-accredited planning courses, and each year the Institute recognises the best academic performance in these programs.

This is an important, visible way for PIA to recognise the importance of academic achievement and research.

At this event, a student bursary prize of $1,000 is awarded to a first-year university student who achieved the best results in Year 12 in the previous year and is enrolled in one of the PIA accredited courses, with the support of LandPartners.
